Coinbase announced the appointment of ex-LinkedIn Vice President

The largest Bitcoin-Exchange Coinbase announced the appointment of Vice President for Corporate and Business Development Emily Choi, who previously worked for more than eight years on the same position in LinkedIn.
According to the company, Emily Choi will help Coinbase to develop new markets, conclude new strategic partnerships and use investment opportunities more effectively. In addition to LinkedIn, Emily worked with Warner Bros. companies. and Yahoo !, where she focused on the development of long-term corporate strategies.

What is more,  13 000 users of the popular American trading platform for digital assets Coinbase received a notice that, in accordance with the decision of the federal court of the Northern District of California, the company is forced to transfer their data to the IRS.

This law is mainly about the users who carried out transactions for a total of over $ 20,000 during the year. However, in Coinbase, this is considered a partial victory, since the IRS originally required the data of half a million users, which the company successfully challenged in the courts. The IRS has requested the following information: the taxpayer identification code, name, date of birth, home address and transaction list for the period 2013-2015.
