Long happy life
If you are seriously planning to move and ready to invest in a new country, come to Lieberland! Let us imagine a country of long happy life, Lieberland. Citizens will have the opportunity to strive for a happy life and our country will be a place where they will have all chances for it.
The official currency of the country will be Bitcoin, the public debt will be banned at the level of the Constitution.
Taxation will be optional. People will only finance specific projects. We expect the reaction of the foreign ministers and will try to explain to them what prospects this will give the region. It will attract money from all over the world: not only in Lieberland, which will be a tax haven, but also in neighboring countries.
About the nation
We decided to start from scratch and show that the state needs not so much to build a society. Some media consider us to be right-wingers, but this is not so. We do not stand for the interests of the rich or for the interests of the poor, we stand for the interests of every person. This is a project for all – that’s the most important thing in Liberalland. We are a nation of people who are not ready to put up with the status quo, high taxes and state indifference. And what really creates a nation, if not community and unity in everything?
Absolutely different people showed interest in Lieberland. Potential citizens offer Lieberland their experience in the field of solar energy, telecommunications, construction and coinage. A French policeman wants to be a volunteer, a lawyer from Montenegro offers his help in writing the constitution and conducting judicial proceedings. Lieberland has an Egyptian plumber and a professional German data engineer. We do not ask any non-mandatory questions about sexual orientation or personal preferences, we are not interested. We are an open society for all.
On the constitution and open borders
The legal system of Liberland will absorb all the best from other countries: Switzerland, Great Britain, Estonia, some parts of the US Constitution. The government of the country will consist of 10-20 people and police service, but we will not have any army and our political course will focus on fully open borders.
It seems that the project of Liberland, after the announcement of the creation of a new country in the media, is beginning to turn into at least a serious phenomenon. It is likely that even if the international community does not recognize the country in the near future, thousands of volunteers from all corners of the world will begin to flock to this small islet of land.
