The Israeli company plans to pay salaries in BTC

Startup Spot.IM plans to pay salaries to its employees in Bitcoins. At the moment, the company is negotiating with the local taxation authority for permission. Spot.IM plans to open an account on one of the crypto exchanges. Salaries will be converted into Bitcoins and transferred to employees’ addresses, said the representative of the company Itai Bracha.

To minimize the impact of the volatility of the first cryptocurrency, the firm’s exchange rate will be based on the average value between the highest and the lowest BTC price on a particular day.

Commission fees will be borne by the company. In this case, the staff will have the opportunity to choose the method of payment – in bitcoins or fiat money. Headquarters Spot.IM is located in New York. In November 2017, during the round of financing of the C Series, the company raised $ 25 million.

The Israeli parliament postponed the introduction of the law on combating money laundering with the help of crypto currency, which was to enter into force on June 1.
