Forbes will Publish Articles on Blockchain Journalism Network

Representatives of Forbes have recently announced about the cooperation with the Civil platform, which will allow the American business-site to begin experiments with publishing content on the blockchain. This is reported in the company’s blog.

According to the representatives of Forbes, the new initiative is designed to help the company to better understand the technology, its ability to publish content, as well as strengthen audience confidence, create new forms of interaction with it and introduce innovative solutions for monetization.

From the first quarter of 2019, Forbes will begin to publish metadata from some materials in the Civil blockchain. Information will be continuously archived, while it will be protected from modification by any third person. Metadata, in particular, will contain data about the author, as well as used sources of information. On the website of the publication of such articles will be marked with a special icon.

If the process goes swimmingly, the metadata from all Forbes materials will be entered into the Civil blockchain. Also over the coming year, blockchain-publishing tools can be integrated into Forbes’s content management system called Bertie.
