Google is planning to create cloud solutions based on the blockchain

Google is working on creating cloud solutions based on the blockchain. Alphabet Inc. develops its own blockchain system, which allows third parties to implement and verify transactions. The timing of the launch of a new solution is not announced.

It is also known that the company intends to create cloud services that are designed to help the Internet giant strengthen its competitive advantages in the market. To achieve this goal, Google actively invests and acquires companies, many of which have significant experience with distributed ledger technology.

According to CB Insights, GV’s venture company previously invested in Bitcoin-Wallet Blockchain, Ripple, LedgerX bitcoin-option platform, Veem payment provider and other start-ups.

At the same time, the company’s representatives are not yet in a hurry to make their plans public, and also to specify the terms for the implementation of the plan.

“We have people in different teams studying the options for using blockchain. However, it is too early to announce any possible applications or plans, “the representatives of the international conglomerate noted.
