London School of Economics announced the launch of the online cryptocurrency course

London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) announced the launch of the online course “Cryptocurrency Investment and Disruption”, dedicated to the topic of cryptocurrency.According to the creators of the course, the program will be useful for investors, representatives of fintech companies and management bodies that regulate the cryptocurrency industry.

Students will receive information on how to work on crypto exchanges, use bitcoin-wallets, and also immerse themselves in the analysis of ICO-projects.

The course also includes analytical knowledge about the importance of digital assets for the financial market and industry in the future. LSE noted that the program does not provide advice on investing in cryptocurrencies.

The start of the six-week course is scheduled for August 14. The cost of training is 1800 pounds ($ 2383).

Representatives of the parliament already demanded comprehensive legal assessments, separation of clients’ and companies’ funds, “honest, transparent and not misleading” customer relations, as well as using cold wallets to store clients’ funds.

“CryptoUK will appeal to the government with a proposal to establish proper regulation to protect consumers and ensure business certainty, which will lead to the prosperity of this sector in the UK,” the statement said.
