The billionaire and the head of Galaxy Investment Partners Mike Novogratz has successfully gathered the necessary volume of investment for starting Galaxy Digital — cryptocurrency trade bank which stocks will be quoted on the Canadian stock exchange TSX Venture Exchange.
Novogratz plans to direct the attracted capital to purchase the Canadian startup – First Coin Capital, and then to carry out the return merger of the Bradmer Pharmaceuticals company traded at the Canadian exchange TSX Venture. After absorption the company will be renamed into Galaxy Digital.
According to Novogratz, the trade bank Galaxy Digital is urged to become “Goldman Sachs for the cryptoindustry”. So, in particular, the new company will specialize in cryptotrading, interexchange arbitration, will invest in blockchain startups and ICO, to render consulting services and also will start the service for management of assets focused on wealthy clients.
It is expected that the new company will appear in listing of TSX Venture at the end of the I quarter 2018.
