The company Tether is launching an additional 300 million USDT. The project website says that this amount is authorized for the release, but has not yet come into circulation.
The last case of USDT issue was fixed on January 23. It is assumed that the decision to stop the uncontrolled emission was caused by the judicial agenda that the company received from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Until then Tether almost every week for eight months released on the market for 100 million USDT.
Currently, about 2.2 billion USDT tokens have been issued. What is connected with the new issue is still unknown.
Earlier this year, analysts at the Bitmex exchange have said that the USDT is very likely to have collateralised US dollars, but it may face regulatory problems. They also noted that the lack of transparency Tether, which is often said by critics, does not necessarily mean fraud.
Financial markets have become one of the most productive areas for the use of Artificial Intelligence. The world’s largest financial corporations, stock exchanges and hedge funds use artificial intelligence to make important investment decisions, and also invest considerable sums in the development of this technology. Fintech is the new gold rush for investors and grew from 10% in 2016 to a staggering 23.2 billion dollars by the end of 2017. China and the USA make a huge breakthrough in this sector and traditionally occupy leading positions.
