The blockchain start-up Tezos, which was in a quandary due to internal disagreements, announced that it will soon release Tezzies tokens. The co-founder of the project Kathleen Breitman commented on the news during the conference Cyber Days.
“We still plan to release tokens in the coming weeks. We will be able to run the project on our own terms. For a long time I was in doubt, but then freed myself from the gravity of the moral question. The project must move forward. It’s not fair, but we have to release the code, “Breitman said.
Tezos positions itself as a network protocol for secure systems of smart contracts. During the ICO in July 2017, the project managed to raise $ 232 million. In October, the start-up blockchain was involved in a lawsuit with the Tezos Foundation. Tezos co-founders of the couple Arthur and Kathleen Breitman are eager to drive Johannes Gevers out of the post of president of a nonprofit organization.
The futures of the Tezos token fell by 75%, and a number of collective suits were sent to the startup. In particular, the plaintiffs claimed that Tezos violated the securities laws and demanded that the assets of the company be frozen.
