Hotels for mining Bitcoin are gaining more popularity

Since the beginning of 2018 the number of offers for renting so-called mining hotels where owners of mining farms can place the equipment, has increased by six times.

According to the anaytics, the number of search queries by words “mining hotel” for the first two weeks of March has grown by 9,5 times, “hotel for mining” — by 4 times, “the data-center for mining” — by 3,5 times.

Most of all offers on placement in mining hotels are published in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Further with a big separation there are Chelyabinsk and Nizhny Novgorod. Least of all offers — in Ufa, Tyumen, Samara, Rostov-on-Don, Orsk, Novosibirsk, Kirov, Irkutsk and in Ivanov.

Moreover, the prices for renting such places decreased greatly. Growth of popularity of mining hotels is explained by the fact that the maintenance of a mining farm in the apartment is complicated by equipment dimensions, high electricity consumption, a big thermolysis and considerable noise level during the work. At the same time, the requirements to equipt mining hotels are quite high.

“The room has to be well ventilated for the equipment not to overheat. It has to be dry, have steadily working channel of the electric power, to be protected from ignition.”

The ost of a farm averages 170-190 thousand rubles, initial expenses of the lessor have to pay off approximately in a year.

At the same time, the competition of the business is growing constantly due to the reduction of suitable for creation mining hotels areas. In the long term, it has to lead to market consolidation and also to stabilization and even growth of services in placement of mining farms.
