UNICEF asked miners to help Syrian children

The French unit of the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) asked gamers to take part in a charitable action and raise funds for the Syrian children with the help of mining. For this purpose, the fund launched the Game Chaingers platform.

The organization also said that after seven years of war in Syria, about nine million children are in need of material and financial assistance. In order to join the action, it is necessary to install a special client-program, which will drop the Ethereum cryptocurrency. At the request of the fund, 24 people responded, who lured 47 euros for Syrian children. The charity event will last for 57 more days.
