The Central Bank of Poland and the Financial Supervisory Commission (KNF) have allocated 91,200 zlotys ($ 27,000) from taxpayers’ funds to finance the campaign against cryptocurrencies, conducted jointly with Google Ireland Ltd, Facebook Ireland Ltd and Polish partner on Youtube – Gamellon network.
On December 8, the Polish Youtube blogger Martin Dubil, who has 900,000 subscribers, published a video entitled: “I lost all my money ?!” He added a hashtag # uważajnakryptowaluty, which the central bank and KNF used for official warnings about the risks associated with the cryptocurrency investment. At the end of the video, the viewer is shown an “evil” investor who allegedly earned money on the “ruin” of Tubil.
The blogger did not indicate that there was paid content in this video, nor did he specify in the description that it was financed by the central bank of Poland in the framework of the propaganda campaign. It is worth noting that the video has already scored more than half a million views.
Paid in the campaign content was also posted on the Polish Youtube channel Planeta Faktów.
